Job Description

Make a Meaningful Difference Every Day – Join Langley as a Relief Support Worker (Care) Days/Nights

Langley is pleased to offer an opportunity for compassionate and motivated Relief Support Worker (Care) Days/Nights to join our friendly, dedicated team in Park View, Fleetwood. This flexible relief role allows you to work with the Manager to arrange shifts that suit your availability. We are looking out for staff for both night and day shifts.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £12.75 per hour (£13.88 for unsocial hours), reflecting the value and positive impact of this important work.

About the Role

Key work and support clients generally within the service, this should be in the capacity of supporting the primary key worker, not acting as the primary key worker.

Provide support and guidance to other Support Workers and Key Workers to assist them in the safe delivery of the service.

Manage risk effectively by contributing to risk plans, monitoring compliance, and sharing updates at professional meetings.

Provide personal care as identified in care plans for individual clients and keep health related records for clients as necessary.

Maintain a clear and calm manner whilst managing client risk through client knowledge and de-escalation as

required.

Safeguard wellbeing and safety through referrals, mandatory testing, medication procedures, emergency response, and liaison with agencies.

Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and unsociable hours as part of a rota.
