You will contribute to the development and evolution of customer-facing web applications, working across frontend and backend codebases to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions.This role suits someone who is comfortable working with a high degree of ownership, engaging proactively with teammates and stakeholders, and contributing to both technical solutions and team effectiveness in a fast-moving environment.Working with:A small, collaborative team of developers, QA engineers, UX/UI designers, product owners, and delivery leadsRegional eCommerce and marketing stakeholdersExternal partners and platform vendors where requiredEssential Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Results Area:Develop, enhance, and maintain JavaScript-based eCommerce (Salesforce Commerce Cloud) applications with a strong focus on quality, performance, and reliabilityBuild reusable, maintainable components following modern web development best practicesCollaborate closely with designers and product teams to deliver accessible, responsive, and user-friendly user experiencesIntegrate with APIs, third-party services, and eCommerce platform capabilitiesTake responsibility for features end‑to‑end, including implementation, review, follow‑up fixes, and iterative improvementsParticipate active in code reviews and technical discussions, contributing ideas and constructive feedbackEngage in sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives, helping improve both delivery and ways of workingProactively identify risks, gaps, or improvement opportunities in code, processes, or toolingTechnical Skills and Experience:Strong professional experience with JavaScript (ES6+)Exposure to Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)/SFRA or similar enterprise eCommerce platformsStrong frontend development skills , with an eye for usability and clean UI implementation are a plusProven experience working on eCommerce or other transactional websitesSolid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design principlesExperience working with APIs and asynchronous programming patternsConfident working with Git and collaborative development workflowsExperience working in agile delivery environmentsA pragmatic, quality-focused mindset with attention to performance, usability, and maintainabilityExperience with React and component-based frontend architecturesExperience with Node.js and Express for server-side developmentExperience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelinesWork Environment/Physical Requirements:Office based in Uxbridge, London, with great access to public transport or provided parking.
