Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Lead Security Guard to join our team at the National Rehabilitation Centre (NRC). Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you will play a key role in leading the Security Team and ensuring the safe, secure and effective operation of security and car parking services across the site.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated security professional with leadership experience to make a real difference in a healthcare environment, helping to protect people, property and assets while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

As Lead Security Guard, you will:

Lead, motivate and support a team of Security Officers to deliver a high-quality service 365 days a year.

Assist in the planning and delivery of security and car parking operations across the site.

Ensure security procedures, service level specifications and site policies are consistently followed.

Produce and manage security team rotas and staffing schedules.

Conduct and oversee internal and external patrols.

Monitor and respond to security, fire and emergency incidents.

Complete and review accident, incident and investigation reports.

Support departments with security risk identification and provide advice on security matters.

Manage key control and lost property processes.

Operate and oversee CCTV systems in accordance with legislation and company procedures (where qualified).

Deliver monthly performance reports and security management information.

Support staff, patients and visitors during difficult or sensitive situations.

Liaise with external agencies, including Police and emergency services when required.

Ensure team members receive appropriate training, development and performance reviews.

Promote a positive culture of customer service, safety and continuous improvement.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

Essential A valid Frontline SIA Licence .

Previous leadership, supervisory or team management experience within a security environment.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Strong organisational and administrative abilities.

Good IT skills and experience using security systems and reporting software.
