Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Days Only

Syston, Leicestershire | Permanent | £50,170.56 plus a wide range of company benefits.

3 on 3 off | 12-hour day shifts – no nights

Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking for a varied role without working nights?

Join an established engineering team on a 3 on 3 off, days-only shift pattern , using your electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills to solve problems and keep production running efficiently.

You’ll join a team of four, including an Engineering Team Leader, where people share knowledge, support production and help each other get the job done.

The role

Working across food processing equipment, automated packing lines and site services, you will:

Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.

Respond to breakdowns, working closely with production to minimise downtime.

Carry out planned maintenance to prevent recurring problems.

Identify and implement improvements to equipment reliability and efficiency.

Give production colleagues clear, practical advice and technical support.

Record maintenance activity using Redzone and help maintain accurate spare-parts records.

Work safely and maintain high engineering and housekeeping standards.

What we’re looking for

You’ll be an experienced maintenance engineer with a recognised electrical or mechanical engineering qualification and confident electrical fault-finding skills .

Your background could be fully multi-skilled, electrically biased with mechanical skills, or mechanically biased with electrical skills. What matters is your ability to diagnose electrical faults and contribute across a...
