An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electronics Engineer to join our CAD team, working on detailed electrical designs and contributing to the successful delivery of industry-leading engineering solutions.

Job Title: Electronics Engineer

Location: Southampton, United Kingdom

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our CAD team. This is an exciting opportunity for an electrically skilled professional to create high-quality engineering drawings, support design projects, and work closely with internal teams and clients to deliver effective solutions within the electrical supply industry.

Key Responsibilities

Produce accurate electrical drawings, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and general arrangements.

Work with engineers and clients to understand project requirements.

Ensure drawings meet quality standards and project deadlines.

Review and update designs throughout the project lifecycle.

Support manufacturing changes and maintain accurate "as-built" drawings.

Develop knowledge of products, systems, and industry standards.

About You

You will have:

Strong knowledge of electrical principles.

3+ years experience creating electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and general arrangements.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable:

EAL Level 3 Panel Wiring Certificate.

Experience with three-phase electrical systems, metering, or electronic panel manufacturing.
