A builders' merchant in Birmingham is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver with HIAB skills for temporary daytime work. This role offers reliable hours and the opportunity to support deliveries across the local area.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle fitted with HIAB
• Complete deliveries of building materials to customer and site locations
• Load, secure and unload goods in line with safety procedures
• Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately
• Provide professional customer service at delivery points
• Follow road safety, site safety and company procedures

Skills and qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence
• Current Driver CPC qualification
• HIAB certificate and practical experience
• Experience delivering building materials or similar goods is desirable
• Good knowledge of safe load handling and vehicle checks
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules

Benefits
