Document Controller

Job Description

We are working with an established construction business who are looking to appoint a Document Controller to support their project team and ensure all project documentation is accurately managed, maintained and distributed.


Key Responsibilities



  • Manage and maintain project documentation, drawings, specifications and correspondence.

  • Ensure documents are correctly uploaded, filed, version-controlled and distributed to relevant stakeholders.

  • Maintain document registers and ensure all information is kept up to date.

  • Coordinate the issue and revision of drawings and technical documentation.

  • Liaise with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, consultants and clients.

  • Ensure document control procedures and company standards are followed.

  • Assist with general project administration and reporting where required.


Requirements



  • Previous experience in a construction or engineering environment.

  • Experience working as a Document Controller, Project Administrator or similar.

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Confident using Microsoft Office and document management systems.

  • Ability to manage multiple documents and deadlines in a busy project environment.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with project teams.
