Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a multi skilled Shift Engineer.- Automation

The Shift Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, improving, and controlling the operation of production, automation, and plant operations within the facility.

This includes ensuring that production targets are met, managing relevant operating procedures, and prioritizing safety at all times, to include performing routine PPM maintenance, troubleshooting, continuous improvement and repair of equipment, documenting and reporting issues, and collaborating with other teams and departments to ensure production goals are met through effective communication and problem-solving.

Qualifications

Strong technical knowledge in relevant Engineering fields such as Mechanical, Electrical, Automation Engineering Industrial Engineering

Experience in maintaining and repairing Machinery and or Production equipment.

Experience with industrial networks and control systems

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND or degree in Engineering or related field is preferred.

Ability to work well in a team is vital.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with relevant safety procedures and regulations

Must have Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be able and willing to understand the importance of and work with an advanced Quality Management System.

Salary

TBC - Depending on Experience.
