We are looking for an experienced Payroll Coordinator / Payroll Administrator to support a busy payroll team during a major payroll system migration.The role will involve working with payroll data from multiple businesses, checking and validating information, identifying discrepancies and helping ensure data is accurate and ready to be migrated onto a new payroll platform.Its a hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable working with large amounts of data, has strong Excel skills and naturally spots when something doesnt look right.Key responsibilities:Supporting day-to-day payroll administrationChecking and validating employee payroll informationReviewing data for errors, discrepancies and missing informationCarrying out data cleansing and reconciliationPreparing and formatting payroll data for migrationSupporting payroll testing and parallel runsMaintaining accurate payroll records and audit trailsUsing Excel to analyse data and produce reportsLiaising with internal teams to resolve payroll queries and data issuesSupporting the Payroll Lead throughout the migration projectAbout you:Previous experience in payroll administration or payroll supportStrong Excel skills and confidence working with large spreadsheetsGood experience checking, reconciling and validating dataExcellent attention to detailWell organised and able to work to deadlinesConfident raising discrepancies and asking questions when information doesnt look rightGood communication skills and comfortable working with different stakeholdersExperience with payroll system implementations, migrations or Moorepay would be useful but isnt essential.This is initially a 10-week temporary assignment to support the system migration, with the potential for the role to become permanent depending on business requirements and performance.Salary: up to £40,000 dependent on experience Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Monday to Thursday office based, Friday working from homeJBRP1_UKTJ
