EPS Production Technician

Job Title:EPS Machining Technician Location:DerbyshireSalary:Up to £35,000 per annumHours:Monday to Friday: 6am-2.30pm A well-established manufacturer is looking for a reliable and enthusiasticMachining Technicianto join its production team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business supplying polystyrene inserts into the construction industry.The Role You will set up, operate, and monitor EPS pre-expanders and shape-moulding machinery, carry out quality inspections, and support finishing processes to ensure products meet customer specifications and production targets.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor machineryCarry out routine quality checks on machineryPressure test, monitor cycle times, rectify machine faults.Assist with insertion moulding and secondary manufacturing operationsMaintain a clean, safe, and organised work environmentWork alongside maintenance engineers to complete repairsFollow production procedures and health & safety standards at all timesWhat Were Looking For Previous experience in plastic or polystyrene machining, or machine operation.
