Information Technology Technician

C2 IT Asset Disposal Limited is an IT Asset Disposition and Lifecycle Services provider committed to sustainable computing practices. The company offers secure data destruction, hardware refurbishment, equipment recycling, and remarketing the equipment via e-commerce platforms.

C2 IT Asset Disposals, located in Epsom, Surrey, is hiring a Junior IT Technician to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic knowledge of computer hardware, eager to learn, and ready to grow with a company set for expansion. Full training will be provided to help you succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

• Refurbish laptops and prepare them for dispatch.
• Install operating systems and apply updates.
• Securely delete data from client equipment.
• Conduct hardware upgrades, such as RAM and storage replacements.
• Maintain accurate records and organize devices for dispatch.
• Occasionally assist with collecting IT equipment from client sites.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of computer hardware (e.g., assembling or troubleshooting).
• Willingness to learn and improve skills through training.
• Physically fit (able to lift boxes up to 30kg).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Right to work in the UK (essential).
• Minimum qualification: GCSE pass or equivalent.
