Site EngineerAnnual Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 plus £4,000 Car AllowanceLocation: ManchesterJob Type: Full-time, PermanentJoin an award-winning, family-owned construction business based in Manchester, dedicated to improving lives through our projects. We are looking for a Site Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality work and making a positive impact on the communities we serve.Day-to-day of the role:Provide accurate setting out and engineering support throughout the project delivery.Monitor progress, resources, materials, and site conditions, maintaining clear project records.Support commercial activities through measurement, valuations, and reporting.Liaise with clients, consultants, designers, and subcontractors to ensure effective project coordination.Contribute to programme planning, project reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.Promote the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.Support the development of trainees and continuously enhance your own technical knowledge and skills.Required Skills & Qualifications:A relevant construction or engineering qualification (NVQ Level 4 or equivalent).Site engineering experience within construction, civils, or infrastructure projects.Strong technical, setting-out, and problem-solving skills.Great attention to detail and organisational ability.Confidence communicating with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.A proactive attitude and commitment to working safely and collaboratively.Knowledge of multiple civils trades and techniques.Experience working directly with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders.Understanding of modern civils methods and technologies.Benefits:Competitive salary package including a £4,000 car allowance and access to the Tusker Car Scheme.Enhanced pension contributions and life assurance cover of 3x salary.26 days holiday plus bank holidays, a Christmas shutdown, holiday purchase/sale optionsBupa Private Healthcare, Employee Assistance Programme, wellbeing initiatives, eye care benefits, access to our Benefits portal, and ongoing learning through our online training platform.JBRP1_UKTJ
