Mechanical Design Engineer
Bristol – Hybrid
£38000 - £43000 + excellent benefits including bonus, pension, life assurance, 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
Outsource UK is seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join an Engineering client who are a leader in their field on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative NPI environment, supporting the design and development of complex mechanical systems from concept through to production.
The role:
Design and develop mechanical components and sub-assemblies
Support new product introduction and development projects
Produce detailed CAD models, drawings, and technical documentation
Ensure designs meet performance, quality, and cost requirements
Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams
About you:
Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering
Experience with 3D/2D CAD tools (e.g. CATIA, AutoCAD, etc.)
Understanding of design for manufacture/assembly principles
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet project deadlines
Knowledge of P&IDs or system schematics is a plus
