Network Engineer - Managed Services£60,000 - £65,000 Per AnnumWe're looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join a highly skilled NOC team within a leading technology solutions provider.You’ll support a diverse customer base across sectors including finance, manufacturing, utilities and retail, working across networking, infrastructure, cloud, virtualisation and security.The RoleProvide technical support across complex customer environments and managed services.Troubleshoot and resolve network and infrastructure incidents.Contribute to solution design, HLD/LLD, implementations and technical projects.Act as a technical escalation point and subject matter expert.Work within an ITIL-based service environment, supporting SLAs, KPIs and change/problem management.Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota.Build strong customer relationships and deliver a high level of technical service.Occasionally travel to customer sites, data centres and offices in Milton Keynes/Watford.Key SkillsWe're looking for experience across several of the following:Cisco / CCNP-level networking & Nexus switchingCisco ASA/FirepowerFortinet, Check Point or Palo Alto firewallsAWS and/or AzureWindows/Linux serversVMware ESXi/vSANLoad balancing and network monitoringDefender / Sentinel / SIEMHLD/LLD documentationITIL, incident/change/problem managementAbout YouYou’ll be a proactive, self-motivated Network Engineer with:Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer-facing abilityThe confidence to work independently and take ownershipA resilient, can-do attitudeRelevant networking qualifications, ideally CCNP or equivalentThis is a great opportunity to work across a broad technology landscape, gain exposure to complex enterprise environments and develop your career within a technically strong managed services team.
