Job Description

Salary: £76,000 - 94,000 per year

Requirements:

  • Software architecture expertise
  • Experience in C++ and embedded software solutions
  • UML modelling
  • Object orientation
  • Design patterns
  • Linux / VXWorks experience is desirable
  • Requirements engineering
  • Network architectures and Ethernet protocols
  • High integrity experience, e.g. RTCA-DO178C
  • A good attitude and willingness to learn

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with project stakeholders to determine system and software-level requirements
  • Collaborate on architectural solutions at platform level to determine the software solutions to be developed
  • Influence the development approach considering design principles, modularity, reuse, best practice, toolchain, and more
