In-House Senior Paralegal - Corporate & Commercial
Location: City of London (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Type: Full-time
Qualifications: Minimum 2 years' paralegal experience (Top 100 law firm or in-house)
Position Overview
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO) focused on making electricity grid connections faster, more flexible and more sustainable.
The business works across a range of sectors including data centres, electric vehicle charging, renewable energy and battery storage, industrial and commercial developments, and residential projects. As electricity demand continues to grow, the company plays an important role in supporting the UK’s transition towards a more electrified and sustainable future, delivering safe and seamless grid connections for customers across Great Britain.
As a Senior Paralegal, you will be responsible for assisting the Head of Legal in managing the corporate legal function on a daily basis. You will assist with drafting and reviewing legal documentation, carrying out legal research, supporting corporate governance and monitoring compliance across the business. You will also act as a key business partner, serving as a first port of call for other departments with their legal queries.
This is an important position within the legal team, helping to support the continued growth of the business. The role would suit someone with experience across a range of commercial and corporate contracts, strong commercial acumen and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. It would also suit someone highly organised, with experience putting processes in place to manage and monitor compliance across a business.
