Class 2 Driver

Monday to Friday, 6:30am4:30pm

No weekends or overnight stays

We are recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a well-established national supplier of construction and civil engineering materials based in Rockbeare, Exeter.

This is a permanent position offering sociable weekday hours, local deliveries and fully funded HIAB training for candidates who do not already hold the qualification.

The role You will deliver civil engineering, drainage and heavy building materials to customers across the local area. Responsibilities will include:

Completing safe and efficient multi-drop deliveries

Loading and unloading materials using a HIAB crane

Returning to the branch throughout the day to reload

Ensuring loads are secure, safe and legally compliant

Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects

Maintaining accurate delivery documentation

Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy and presentable

Delivering professional customer service at every location

Following all transport, health and safety procedures

Previous HIAB or lorry-loader experience would be beneficial, although full training can be provided.

What were looking for A valid Category C/Class 2 driving licence

An up-to-date Driver CPC/DQC card

Recent HGV driving experience

A valid digital tachograph card
