Support Worker
Salary: £12.74 per hour (£23,849.28 per annum based on 36 hours per week)
Working Hours: 36 hours per week
Service: National Neurological Services – Rosglen, Barnsley.
We are currently looking for aSupport Workerto join our team atNational Neurological Services, Rosglen - based inBarnsley.
Rosglen Neurological Centre is a 6 bedded residential service providing accommodation and 24-hoursupport. We are a specialist neurological service that provides residential support for adults following a brain injury or with a neurological condition. Our progression model offers transitional, long-term residential support in an equipped setting.
We encourage our individuals to access the community, local facilities and to join in with meaningful activities which are of an interest to keep them motivated and stimulated.
Our bedrooms are fully furnished with a kitchenette area and ensuite wet room. Everybody also has access to the modern communal living area which is equipped with Netflix, arrange of board games, books and activities. The kitchen and dining area leads onto our enclosed garden area which is secure and accessible for all.

The role of a National Care Group Support Worker
You will work with young adults who have complex needs. We are looking for a respectful and caring individual who can passionately support our young adults to fulfil their potential. This is a sometimes-challenging role but one with huge rewards.
You will build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and then planning goals and ambitions together.
You will help to plan their daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking, cleaning and running errands.
