This is aday-shiftin awell-established food manufacturing siteproducing high-volume, high-quality chilled products for major UK retailers. The site has been operating for decades, is financially stable, and is now pushing major upgrades across machinery, automation and site-wide performance.

The role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, youll be part of a tight-knit engineering team keeping a busy food factory running smoothly. Youll split your time between:

• Reactive breakdown workacross production, packaging and utilities

• Planned and preventative maintenanceto reduce downtime

• Supportingmachinery upgrades, line improvements and new equipment installs

• Ensuringhygiene, quality and safety standardsare met at all times

• Drivingcontinuous improvementacross the plant

Its a role for someone who likes getting stuck in, solving problems fast and seeing the impact of their work on output.

What you need

• Apprentice trained (Electrical or Mechanical)

• NVQ3 / ONC / HNC in a relevant engineering discipline

• Food, FMCG, automotive or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience

• Strong understanding of CI tools, TPM and modern maintenance practices

• Confident working with safe systems of work: LOTO, PUWER, permits

• Good GMP awareness and a positive, hands-on approach
