Site Engineer

We are working with a well-established and highly regarded infrastructure contractor to assist them in hiring a Site Engineer for their growing team in Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer to join a busy project team delivering a variety of civil engineering and infrastructure works. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and to the required standards.

As the Site Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

· Setting out and surveying for a range of civil engineering and infrastructure works.

· Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and construction information.

· Carrying out quality checks and maintaining accurate site records.

· Providing technical support and guidance to the Site Manager and wider site team.

· Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues.

· Ensuring works are delivered in line with health & safety, quality and programme requirements.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

· Previous experience working as a Site Engineer within civil engineering, rail or infrastructure.

· Strong setting-out and surveying experience.

· Good knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications and construction processes.

· Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

· Strong communication and organisational skills with a proactive approach to problem solving.
