Learning Support Assistant - Specialist Provision (KS3)

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist provision in Billingshurst, West Sussex, supporting Key Stage 3 students with Social, Communication and/or Language Needs (SCLN).

Many of the young people attending the provision have transitioned from mainstream primary schools and thrive within a smaller, more nurturing secondary environment where they can receive the individual support needed to succeed both academically and personally.

We are looking for Learning Support Assistants who:

Are patient, caring and understanding

Can build positive and trusting relationships with students

Are confident supporting social, communication and emotional development

Can adapt their approach to meet individual needs

Enjoy helping young people develop confidence and independenceContract Details

Location: Billingshurst, West Sussex

Position: Learning Support Assistant

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Temporary and ongoing opportunities

Duration: Short-term and long-term placements available

Full Time / Part Time: Both considered

Hours: School hours

Pay: Competitive hourly rateRequirements

GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above preferred)

A calm, supportive and encouraging manner

Strong communication skills

Excellent reliability and attendance
