Pharmacist
Fitzwilliam Hospital, Peterborough
Part-time, 22.5 hours
We are looking for a registered Pharmacist to join the team at Fitzwilliam Hospital, providing safe and effective pharmacy services across inpatient and outpatient settings. The role includes dispensing, medicines management, prescription review, stock control, clinical support, and patient counselling to help deliver high-quality patient care.
Fitzwilliam Hospital is one of Cambridgeshire's leadingindependent hospitals witha reputation for delivering high quality healthcare treatments and services since 1983. The hospital is situated in the quiet landscaped grounds of the Milton Estate in Peterborough and has 54 singlebedroomsand 1 twin-bedded room, all with en suite facilities. The hospital provides services for both private and NHS patients.
Key Responsibilities include:
Dispense and supply medicines safely and accurately
Review prescriptions and provide clinical pharmacy support
Counsel patients and advise healthcare professionals on medicines
Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team
Support service improvement, quality standards, and compliance with relevant legislation and policies
Maintain professional development and complete mandatory training
Promote patient safety, confidentiality, and infection prevention practices
What you'll bring with you:
Degree in Pharmacy
GPhC registration
Strong communication, IT, and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible and adaptable approach
Hospital pharmacy experience (desirable)
Experience using JAC (CMM) and Maxims systems (desirable)
