Technical Contract Manager – Building Services
Location: Harlow Head Office / Hybrid
Site Coverage: London-wide
Salary: £70,000 + Electric Vehicle or £75,000 basic salary
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Technical Contract Manager to take responsibility for the successful commercial, operational and technical delivery of building services contracts across a portfolio of sites in London.
Based from our Harlow head office, this is a hybrid role combining office-based management, remote working and regular visits to client sites across London. You will be responsible for ensuring contracts are delivered safely, efficiently and to a consistently high technical standard, while maintaining strong client relationships and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day delivery of building services and facilities management contracts across multiple London sites.
* Act as the key technical and operational point of contact for clients.
* Manage planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring contractual KPIs and SLAs are achieved.
* Oversee M&E building services including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, BMS and associated systems.
* Ensure statutory compliance, PPM completion and health & safety requirements are maintained.
* Manage subcontractors, specialist suppliers and engineering teams.
* Review technical reports, maintenance records, quotations and remedial works.
* Identify opportunities to improve asset performance, reliability and operational efficiency.
* Monitor contract performance, budgets, costs and commercial delivery.
* Support forecasting, financial reporting and variation management.
* Lead regular client meetings, performance reviews and contract meetings.
* Carry out regular site inspections and audits across London.
* Ensure issues are identified, escalated and resolved effectively.
* Work closely with engineering, commercial, finance, procurement and senior management teams.
* Support mobilisation and transition of new contracts where required.

You will be an experienced Building Services / M&E Contract Manager with a strong technical understanding and proven experience managing contracts, clients and operational teams.
