As Agency Partnerships manager, a new role in our growing UK team, you will be expected to build and grow relationships across a designated patch of London media agencies and core advertisers directly.
Your job will be to articulate the value of SB Media’s audiences and content proposition, generate new briefs, close deals, grow SB Media’s profile in market as a trusted, premium partner whilst delivering best in class partnerships that solve client business objectives. You will do this by selling bespoke social first branded content partnerships and display solutions.
You will have prior experience at a media owner/publishing business and a proven track record of building & growing a book of business, experience of creatively selling new propositions and a flair for staying front of mind in a crowded market place, with existing agency relationships to leverage. Prior experience at a media agency and/or selling social first content partnerships a bonus.
What you’ll be doing:
Forge new relationships with advertisers & your patch of agencies to create a regular flow of opportunities and briefs.
Develop and maintain a proactive agency and client sales strategy for YoY growth including the facilitation of agency roadshows, lunch and learns & by attending trade events
Expected to maintain a steady output of weekly f2f meetings and new business calls with all levels of agency planners/buyers and senior marketing decision makers at brands
Take existing sales materials and tailor/personalise for your agencies, clients and prospects using additional data and insights
Exceed individual sales goals while contributing to overall team targets, provide accurate forecasts and manage your own pipeline.
Collaborate with and lead internal creative & content teams to generate best in class creative solutions that answer client briefs
Gather market/client feedback to identify new proactive opportunities for revenue growth and product development to share with the wider SB Media business.
What you’ll have:
Track record selling to media agencies and direct to brands with a network of relationships at both
Demonstrable expertise in writing & delivering persuasive proposals that win business
Knowledge of social media platforms and digital media/advertising landscape
Feel comfortable using data & insights to craft compelling strategies that supercharge creative ideas and ensure we solve client objectives.
Prior experience and expertise in prospecting, networking, negotiating and closing deals
Intellectual curiosity, an entrepreneurial spirit and a great attitude
Be a team player and enjoy collaborating to solve challenges
A proven ability to present and influence internal & external stakeholders.
Comfort level asking and answering challenging questions.
This role will be based from our Shoreditch office and we have a hybrid model of 3 days in the office, 2 from home.
