Responsibilities

  • Follow a pre-planned maintenance program for coffee machines located mainly at key retail sites and in hotels and hospitality venues.
  • Fit specific parts, check components, and replace items from spare van parts as necessary.
  • Descale boilers and pipework; replace water filters as required.
  • Provide operator training on operation and cleaning of equipment.
  • Manage spare parts stock in the van and report faults outside the PPM service to the senior engineer.
  • Be prepared for upskilling through training to full field coffee engineer status.

Qualifications

  • Preventative maintenance engineer with basic mechanical and electronic or electrical knowledge.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Knowledge of drinks machinery is advantageous but not required.
  • Experience carrying out preventative maintenance schedules on electromechanical equipment on-site or in the field.
  • Professional, customer-facing demeanor with good organizational and problem-solving skills.

Employment details

  • Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 basic, depending on experience.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday; overtime available (weekly and weekends).
  • Benefits: company van (for private use), 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, 3% pension, private health and sick pay, and training/development opportunities.
  • Location: UK across multiple sites; role supports travel to customer sites.

Selected candidate may be eligible for additional training and progression opportunities within the team.
