Job Description

Contract: Permanent – Part Time 25 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 2:00pm

Rate of Pay: £12.71 per hour

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and organised Vending Operator to support our vending operation at the DPD site in Hinckley.

You will be responsible for ensuring vending machines are fully stocked, clean and operating correctly throughout the site. This is a hands-on role that involves regular stock replenishment, stock rotation, basic machine checks and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Replenish vending machines with food, drinks and other products
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure machines remain well stocked
  • Rotate stock and check product use-by and best-before dates
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all vending machines
  • Carry out basic machine checks and report faults promptly
  • Receive, organise and store deliveries
  • Complete regular stock counts and help minimise waste
  • Ensure products are correctly positioned and priced
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised stock/storage area
  • Follow all food hygiene, Health & Safety, COSHH and site procedures.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be someone who takes pride in delivering a great service and works well with both customers and colleagues.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
  • Organised with good attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a busy operational environment
  • Physically able to replenish machines and move stock safely
  • Friendly and professional when dealing with customers
  • Able to follow food hygiene and health and safety procedures
  • Previous vending, retail, catering, warehouse or stock replenishment experience would be beneficial, but full training can be provided
