Catering Supervisor
Location: Hospital Airdrie
Salary: Band 3 £29103, £15.55 per hour
Hours: Full-Time Temporary to Permanent
Join Our Team
As a Catering Supervisor, you will lead a team of catering staff to ensure a safe, efficient, and customer-focused food service operation that meets all standards, food hygiene regulations, and dietary requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the day to day operation of hospital catering services
Lead, motivate, and support catering staff to deliver excellent customer service
Ensure meals are prepared, presented, and served to the highest standards
Monitor compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
Manage staff rotas, attendance, and training requirements
Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management
About You
The successful candidate will have:
Experience supervising or leading a team
Previous experience in a catering, hospitality, or food service environment
Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety regulations
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure in a busy healthcare environment
A customer-focused approach with attention to detail
