A keen eye for detail and a passion for data-driven solutions are essential.You will be responsible forManaging and maintainingserver infrastructure and associated software, including SQL databases, Linux virtual machines, Git repositories, and continuous deployment pipelinesSupporting the development, automation, and maintenanceof data processes for the CCECs, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT)Working with data pipelinesto ensure accurate and timely delivery of data from core systemsMaintaining and optimisinga user-friendly data warehouse, ensuring robust and efficient ELT processes.Contributing to the Data & Insight development roadmap, supporting the successful delivery of CCEC projectsCollaborating with stakeholdersto understand their needs and deliver high-quality data streams that support both CCEC and wider business objectivesEnsuring data qualitythrough regular pipeline maintenance and reviewFostering a collaborative environment, sharing ideas and driving innovation across the teamResponding to change requestswith creative, practical solutions using a wide range of development toolsProviding expert supportto the wider business on production data runs and performance optimisation, helping to meet objectives with minimal disruptionKey people and teams I work with within and outside of TescoTransformation, People, Business Risk)Tesco Group including Technology, Insight, Online, Product, Retail, Fulfilment & Finance3rd party providers including BT Cisco, Verint SA and MedalliaYou will needOperational skills relevant for this job:Programming - Python or JavaCICD - GIT, Docker, AnsibleData warehousing - TSQL, Postgres, HiveQLELT processes - Airflow, DBTLinux CLI and Virtual machine managementExperience relevant for this job:Comprehending large datasets/ pipelines to produce meaningful and relevant data to the businessWorking with cross functional teamsWork collaboratively across projectsExcellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex ideas in a simple and compelling wayStakeholder engagement & networkingWorking with real world data and implementing solutions to extract clean and storeWhats in it for you?We offer excellent benefits that help make Tesco a great place to work!
