Chartered Structural Engineer Location: WR13Salary: Competitive, DOEJob Type: PermanentStart: ASAP We are looking for a Chartered Structural Engineer to join an established structural engineering team based in the WR13 area. The role would suit an experienced structural engineer looking to take responsibility for a varied portfolio of projects, providing technically sound and commercially practical structural solutions from concept through to completion.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and deliver structural engineering solutions across a range of projects.Prepare and review structural calculations, specifications and technical reports.Produce and review structural drawings and details.Assess existing structures and recommend appropriate solutions.Liaise with architects, contractors, clients and other consultants.Attend site visits, inspections and meetings where required.Manage structural engineering projects from initial design through to completion.Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.Ensure designs comply with relevant British Standards and Building Regulations.Review and approve technical work where appropriate.Help maintain high standards of technical quality across projects.RequirementsChartered Structural Engineer status with the relevant professional institution.Strong experience in structural engineering design and consultancy.Competent with structural calculations and technical design.Good knowledge of relevant British Standards and Eurocodes.Experience working with a range of structural materials and construction methods.Strong communication and client-facing skills.Ability to manage projects and work independently.Proficient with relevant structural design and engineering software.What's on OfferCompetitive salary based on experience.Permanent position based in WR13.Varied and technically interesting project portfolio.Opportunity to take responsibility for projects and clients.Professional development and long-term career progression
