Company Secretarial Manager - Top10 Professional Services Firm

Birmingham

Due to a period of unrivalled and sustained growth, this top10 professional services firm is looking to recruit a Company Secretarial Manager to manage a team and deliver compliance and advisory work to clients.  As a Company Secretarial Manager in the Business Services team, you will work closely with other teams (such as Corporate Insolvency lnsolvency, Tax, Forensics and Accounts) and have responsibility for:   Advising staff on all aspects of company secretarial work.

Delivering advisory work for clients (for example within Corporate Simplification and projects related to incorporating companies).

Conducting rigorous project and financial management on all projects.

Supervising and mentoring junior members of staff (4 direct reports in the office).

Liasing with and supporting Company Secretarial Managers and staff in other offices as necessary.

Taking ownership of all aspects of service delivery from client take on to completion of a job ensuring that all assignments to a high quality and within agreed timescales.

Proactively contributing to the management of all company secretarial business development activity – pricing new opportunities, production of proposals and collaborating on the day-to-day management of the pipeline of opportunities.

Candidates must be qualified (CGI/formerly ICSA) and possess experience in a managerial position firm in a professional services firm or a dedicated company secretarial provider (the role involves delivery to and management of a high volume of clients so the consulting/professional services mindset is critical).  You will also be able to demonstrate evidence of managing and developing staff – co-ordinating staff projects, mentoring, counselling and appraising.  This represents an outstanding opportunity for an individual in the company secretarial space to play a key role in shaping and growing an advisory based business.
