Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of innovative and seasonal menus
Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
Manage and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
Monitor inventory levels, control costs, and optimise kitchen efficiency
Collaborate with suppliers to source the finest quality ingredients
Uphold the restaurant's reputation for exceptional food quality and service
Continuously strive to enhance the dining experience and exceed guest expectations
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in fine dining establishments, Michelin starred restaurants, or private members clubs
Extensive knowledge of Italian and British cuisine
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Creative flair and a passion for culinary excellence
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are desirable
