Ready to take ownership of electrical automation projects from design through to commissioning?

Due to continued growth, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing team delivering bespoke automation, control systems and LV switchgear solutions across a range of industrial applications.

The Role

• Manage projects from initial enquiry through to design, build and commissioning.
• Produce electrical schematics, control panel layouts and LV switchgear designs using EPLAN and AutoCAD.
• Prepare FDS documents, quotations, estimates and technical documentation.
• Develop hardware solutions to UKCA and CE standards; UL 508A knowledge would be advantageous.
• Support PLC/HMI programming, FAT, commissioning and fault-finding.
• Develop build documentation for volume-manufactured products.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams throughout projects.
• Provide post-installation and call-out support alongside general project engineering duties.

What We're Looking For

• HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in industrial automation, controls and electrical design.
• Strong EPLAN and AutoCAD experience.
• PLC/HMI programming advantageous, but not essential - training available
• Galaxy 3/Cubic software experience would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems and LV switchgear.
• Strong communication, organisation and project management skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK.

Located in Norfolk, this role would be commutable from Norwich, King's Lynn, Dereham, Attleborough and other surrounding areas.
