This workshop-based role you will be working at an allocated bench repairing and fault testing power tools such as angle grinders, drills etc.
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00
Job responsibilities: (includes but not limited to)
Visually inspect and test tools and equipment.
Troubleshoot and identify malfunctioning or inoperative parts, disassemble defective tools and equipment, and install new or repaired parts.
Conduct PAT and vibration testing when required in line with customer requirements.
Order spare parts as required from suppliers.
Maintain record systems.
Maintain stock levels
Requirements
Applicants MUST have an understanding of electrical tools and equipment. An electrical background essential as candidate will be working with high voltage tools.
Applicants must be comfortable using computer software (excel/word), must have the ability to work in a small team, and be comfortable with customer service.
This role would suit a Workshop Technician or similar with a background in repairing power tools, that is looking for a stable, local role that enables a healthy work-life balance.
Full training provided.
Full UK driving licence required.
