Job Description

Salary: £85,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements

  • Proven experience defining enterprise data architecture, enterprise data models, and domain architectures within complex organisations.
  • Strong expertise in modern data platforms, integration architecture, master data management, metadata governance, and data quality frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and data governance tools such as Purview or OneTrust.
  • Experience using Enterprise Architecture Frameworks such as TOGAF or DAMA (CDMP), architectural principles, design patterns, architecture tools, and artifact repositories.
  • Strong understanding of integration architecture, modern data platforms, and master data management approaches.
  • Strong knowledge of metadata management, lineage, data catalogues, and data quality frameworks.
  • Experience translating business strategy into practical architecture standards and roadmaps.
  • Ability to lead, engage, and influence at all levels.
  • Demonstrates the Guinness Leadership and Management Standard.
  • Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
  • Certification in TOGAF, Zachman, DAMA (CDMP), or equivalent frameworks.
  • Educated to Level 6 (degree or equivalent) or higher in an IT/STEM-related degree discipline.
  • Desirable: Experience working within the social housing sector.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of social housing processes and systems.
  • Desirable: Azure or Microsoft Data certifications.
  • Desirable: PM, Prince2, Agile Practitioner, DevOps, or ITIL qualifications.

  • Ensure data is structured, governed, and integrated as a strategic asset.
  • Enable business outcomes, regulatory compliance, and informed decision-making.
  • Translate business strategy into clear architectural standards and roadmaps.
  • Build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels to drive successful outcomes.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Architect to join the Guinness team in a permanent, full-time position of 35 hours per week, based in either our London or Oldham office.
