About the Role We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Essex.

You will work alongside experienced electrical engineers and technicians, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of projects while developing your technical knowledge and professional skills.

The successful candidate will be eager to learn, technically minded and keen to develop a long-term career within electrical building services.

The Role As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you will assist with the design, development and delivery of electrical building services projects.

Working under the guidance of senior engineers, you will support the preparation of electrical designs, calculations, drawings and technical documentation. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with CAD technicians, mechanical engineers, project managers and other members of the design team.

Key Responsibilities Assist with the design of electrical building services installations.

Support senior engineers with project calculations, specifications and technical documentation.

Assist with electrical load calculations and equipment selection.

Produce and review electrical drawings and schematics.

Work closely with CAD technicians to develop coordinated electrical layouts.

Assist with lighting, small power, containment and distribution system designs.

Support the preparation of technical reports, schedules and specifications.

Assist with site surveys and inspections where required.

Review drawings and technical information to identify potential issues.

Coordinate electrical services with architectural, structural and mechanical information.
