Job Description

If you've reached the stage in your practice career where you're looking for more than just another portfolio to manage, this could be exactly the opportunity you've been waiting for. As a Practice Accountant / Client Manager, working with this firm based on the northern side of Leeds, you'll have the chance to build long‑term relationships with owner‑managed businesses, become a trusted adviser, and play a genuine part in shaping the future of a growing accountancy practice.

You'll enjoy the freedom to work proactively with clients, develop and mentor a talented team, and influence the way the practice continues to evolve. This is a role where your ideas are valued, your expertise is recognised, and your career progression isn't limited by rigid structures.

Whether you're already working as a Practice Accountant / Client Manager or you're ready to step into a broader client‑facing leadership role, you'll find an environment that encourages professional growth, flexible working, and a healthy work‑life balance while delivering meaningful advice that makes a real difference to clients.

  • Confident communicating with clients and building lasting relationships.
  • Enjoys developing and supporting junior team members.
  • Strong technical knowledge across accounts and taxation.
  • Commercially aware with a proactive approach to client service.
  • Audit exposure would be beneficial but is not essential.

  • £50,000 - £55,000
  • Hybrid and flexible working.
  • Profit‑related bonus scheme.
  • Minimum 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with additional loyalty days.
  • Employee benefits portal with discounts and 24/7 GP access.
  • Free financial coaching and mortgage advice.
