Service Advisor – Reading
Salary: £30,000 Basic | OTE: £38,000+
Location: Reading
Hours: Monday to Friday
The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy and professional dealership in Reading. This is a customer-focused role offering a great work-life balance with Monday to Friday hours and strong earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
Acting as the main point of contact for customers throughout the service and repair process.
Booking vehicles into the workshop for servicing, maintenance, and repair work.
Providing accurate updates on vehicle progress and managing customer expectations.
Preparing job cards and ensuring all required information is recorded accurately.
Liaising closely with the workshop team to ensure work is completed efficiently.
Upselling additional products and services where appropriate.
Handling customer queries and resolving any issues professionally.
Ensuring all administration is completed accurately and in line with company procedures.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade is preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Confident using dealership management systems and computer software.
Full UK driving licence.
What's on Offer
£30,000 basic salary.
