The business is an award-winning manufacturer based in Bracknell and they are keen to offer this opportunity to an ambitious Finance Manager who enjoys managing and mentoring junior accounting team members.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, supporting the Finance team with the completion of month end reporting procedures and reconciliations and to assist with the ongoing development of the Finance function. Working in a small team this role is hands on with lots of variety.
Key tasks
Managing the Month end timetable and execution of tasks
Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Monthly Journal Entries for Month-End Close Processing
Balance Sheet and P&L reporting and analysis
Assist the Finance Director with producing clear, concise management reporting packs for Monthly Board meetings
Assisting with external audit field work as necessary
Support with the production of company budgets and forecasts
Reviewing current processes and implementing improvements
Strong Excel and reporting skills sumifs, Vlookups, pivot tables are important, as is the ability to multitask and prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are achieved. SAGE 200 experience would be useful but is not essential. This is a permanent, office-based role paying £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
