Assistant Centre Manager

Our client who is one of the UKs fastest growing fast-fit automotive businesses, are currently looking for an Assistant Centre Manager based at their retail centre in Swindon.

As an Assistant Centre Manager you will work closely with the Centre Manager to manage daily operations, optimise workflow, support the workshop team and ensure the centre meets its commercial, customer service and compliance targets.

To be applicable for this role, you must have a background within the Automotive industry.

We are happy to look at candidates who are already Assistant Centre Managers, or someone who is ready for their firststep into management.

Location: Swindon Pay / salary: £32,000
- £34,000, dependent on experience OTE: Approx.

£6,000 per annum, based on KPIs Shift and schedule: 08:30
- 17:30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week Benefits: 32 days holiday including Bank Holidays Performance-based bonus scheme with an approximate OTE of £6,000 per annum Access to fully funded, industry-standard IMI upskilling courses Career development: training and Company growth to boost career progression Staff discounts on servicing, tyres, and MOTs Life Insurance Pension scheme Employee Assistant Program Long service recognition, enhance maternity and paternity leave Retail vouchers, eye care vouchers, buy/sell holidays, flu jab, cycle to work scheme, Company events Assistant Centre Manager Responsibilities: Support the Centre Manager with the day-to-day running of the centre Coordinate workshop staff and manage daily work routines to ensure an efficient workflow Maintain strict control over stock and inventory values Guide, coach and mentor workshop mechanics to help achieve customer satisfaction and business targets Step into the workshop and physically assist technicians with mechanical issues when required Support the achievement of commercial sales KPIs and overall centre performance Handle customer enquiries and use commercial awareness to identify opportunities to grow the business Develop and support local customer accounts Ensure strict workshop compliance and high operational standards are maintained To be an Assistant Centre Manager you will need: Full clean UK driving licence, held for at least 6 months Essential Experience within a technical or mechanical working environment Strong automotive product knowledge Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong organisational and commercial awareness skills A hands-on approach and willingness to support the workshop team when required Our client: They have over 180 centres within the UK and are actively growing.

They are known for their strong national presence, modern service centres and commitment to customer care.

They are looking to have over 300 centres within the next 3 years.

They offer a wide range of services including tyres, MOTs, servicing and repairs, supported by their ongoing large investment in training, technology and centre development.
