Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner to join the team.

The Role

As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming CNC lathes and machining centres to produce high-precision components. You will work closely with the manufacturing team, ensuring all products meet exact customer specifications and stringent quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting, operating and programming CNC lathes and machining centres
• Producing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Using metrology and inspection equipment to verify component quality
• Carrying out manual machining operations where required
• Selecting appropriate tooling and machining methods
• Ensuring work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards
• Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience as a CNC Turner
• Experience with Fanuc controls
• CAM programming experience
• Ability to programme both offline and at the machine
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings
• Experience using inspection and metrology equipment
• Manual machining experience
• Ability to work to tight tolerances and demanding surface finish specifications
• Self-motivated with a keen eye for detail
