Strong technical accounting skills will be a must. Alongside diligence and accuracy.
Most of all a “can-do” attitude and ability to turn your hand to what needs doing when it needs doing.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organisational goals.
Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Manage a team of 10 in finance and accounts, reporting to you.
Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
P&L reporting
Audit
Cash Flow Forecasting
Costs and Margin Analysis
Collaborate with executive leadership to provide strategic insights for decision-making.
Ensure financial reporting accuracy and transparency.
Skills / experience and attitude:
Proven experience as a FC or FD in an SME.
CIMA, ACCA, ACA Qualified Accountant.
Good knowledge of data analytics ideally with PowerBi.
Strong cash flow understanding.
Management, mentoring skills.
Diligent and accurate in checking your work.
Strong forecasting and analytical approach.
Able to communicate clear, concise and accurate information to the board.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
