JDR Recruitment are recruiting for a Cleaner to work at a leisure centre based in Dalkeith, EdinburghKey ResponsibilitiesClean and maintain all areas of the leisure centre, including:Reception and public areasChanging rooms and toiletsGym and fitness studiosSports halls and activity roomsOffices and staff areasPoolside areas (where applicable)Carry out routine cleaning duties including:Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dustingEmptying bins and waste disposalCleaning and sanitising surfaces and equipmentReplenishing hygiene and cleaning suppliesEnsure all cleaning work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations.Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals following COSHH guidelines.Report maintenance issues, damage, hazards, or stock shortages to management.Assist with deep cleaning schedules and periodic cleaning tasks.Respond promptly to spillages and cleanliness issues to maintain a safe environment.Provide excellent customer service and interact professionally with centre users.Candidates must have previous Cleaning experience.We have the following shifts available:6am-1:30pm6:30am-2pm9am-4pm2:30pm-10:30pmWorking 3-5 shifts per week - we can offer flexible working£12.71 per hourOngoing workJDR is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all backgrounds.JDRNorthWestWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds.
