School Cleaner - Immediate Start

Location: Liverpool

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 11:30am

Salary: Competitive Hourly Rate

We are currently recruiting for a School Cleaner to join a busy and friendly school on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, staff rooms and communal areas

Cleaning and sanitising toilets and washroom facilities

Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and polishing floors

Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately

Replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies as required

Using floor-cleaning machinery and equipment to maintain larger areas

Working safely with cleaning chemicals and adhering to COSHH regulations

Following school cleaning schedules and health & safety procedures

Ensuring all areas are kept clean, safe and presentable for staff, pupils and visitors

Requirements

Previous commercial or school cleaning experience preferred

Able to use cleaning equipment and floor-cleaning machinery, or willing to be trained

Comfortable handling cleaning chemicals safely

Chemical/COSHH training would be advantageous, although training can be provided where required

Reliable, punctual and able to work independently

Good attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards

Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS Certificate that has already been processed and is available for work immediately
