You will be a Senior Developer looking for a full stack development role where the breadth of development is wide meaning there is a lot of variety in your day to day. You'll be joining a team who strive to push the edge, be passionate about technology, a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and be looking to join an award-winning technology company who are driving innovate change in their market space.

Your responsibilities will include:

Working closely with product owners, business analysts and quality assurance to design, develop, test and implement applications

Writing database SQL queries, functions and stored procedures

Writing clean, maintainable and testable code adhering to code standards and best practices

Designing and developing front-end and back-end solutions using ReactJS/NextJS and Typescript

Strong understanding of UI/UX design concepts and methodologies

Strong understanding of UI accessibility

Building reusable components and front end libraries for future use

Implementing responsive user interfaces and ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

Identifying, troubleshooting and debugging issues across the stack

Perform intensive testing of all new and existing programs to ensure they are free of errors and function as intended

Communicate with technical and non-technical users to understand requirements and demonstrate system functionality

Mentoring and developing Junior Developers

Performing peer code reviews for fundamentals, accuracy and functionality

About you:

Extensive experience working in C# .NET environments, implementing Web applications and services (ideally 7 years+)

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or comparable

Experience with serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Azure Web Apps, or Google Cloud Functions

Knowledge of database systems like MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server

Extensive knowledge of C# using Visual Studio 2017 or newer, MVC using Razor and Entity Framework

Skills in UI and scripting technologies including CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery

Experienced with all ancillary technologies necessary for Internet applications: HTTP, TCP/IP.

Experience in Web services, AJAX, REST and SOAP API’s

Be proficient in writing SQL queries and using Microsoft SQL Server

Recruitment Process

Applications for this role may require a short online assessment to establish competency in certain skill areas.

If your application is successful, you will be invited to a short telephone screening call with a member of our HR team. This is an informal conversation to find out a little more about you and your expectations ahead of potentially moving on to a formal interview.

If you are invited to an interview, this may be carried out at our Bournemouth office, or online via a video call depending on your location. Interviews are conducted with the line manager for this role. A second interview may be required depending on the specific job role and may be attended by a member of senior management where required. Don’t worry though, we’re all very friendly!
