IT Infrastructure Engineer - Azure, Exchange, VMware, Cisco - Sheffield - Onsite - £40,000
Role
I've partnered with a leading service provider to add an ambitious and driven engineer to the team. The role will largely consist of projects and some escalated enquiries from the helpdesk. A large proportion of my client is local private sector so day travel can be anticipated, this will be 3 to 4 times a month. Most client's work with hybrid azure infrastructure set ups and you'll be working with the same dedicated set of clients, continually developing the service. A consulting approach is required towards the clients, so any experience from a service provider side would be greatly beneficial. As a senior engineer within the team, you'll be acting as an escalation point for service desk engineers, chipping in when required to escalated enquiries.
Role Requirements
From a technical standpoint the ideal candidate will posses a number of years experience having supported on hybrid azure environments with VMware and Cisco networking experience too. They cover a large range of technologies, there isn't an expectation for everything to have been practiced but a strong correlation and can do attitude goes a long way.
