Location: Nottingham
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (negotiable for the right candidate)
Full Time, 37.5hrs In Office
Key Responsibilities:
Take charge of the Accounts Payable function, overseeing seamless processing of business-to-business transactions.
Lead a team of Accounts Payable specialists, providing guidance to ensure timely and accurate payments.
Develop and implement efficient processes to streamline Accounts Payable operations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address payment queries and resolve discrepancies.
Utilise your expertise in mergers and acquisitions to navigate any related financial transactions.
Requirements:
Proven experience in Accounts Payable, preferably with exposure to business-to-business transactions.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Previous managerial experience is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
Experience in handling mergers and acquisitions would be advantageous.
Ability to work full-time in an office-based setting in Nottingham.
