Quality Engineer

Our client, a leading organisation in the water sector, is seeking a Quality Engineer for a contract role supporting clean water infrastructure projects. The role will focus on the production, management and close-out of quality and handover documentation across Thames Water projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the preparation, management and close-out of handover documentation
• Maintaining accurate quality records throughout the project lifecycle
• Working with project, engineering and construction teams to ensure documentation meets required standards
• Reviewing quality documentation for completeness, accuracy and compliance
• Monitoring document progress and identifying outstanding information required for project handover
• Contributing to quality assurance processes across clean water infrastructure projects
• Supporting the resolution of quality issues and ensuring corrective actions are properly recorded
• Communicating with internal teams, subcontractors and wider project stakeholders

Job Requirements:

• Experience in a Quality Engineer, QA Engineer or similar role within civil engineering or the water sector
• Understanding of quality management systems and construction documentation
• Knowledge of civil engineering processes, particularly within clean water infrastructure
• Experience producing, reviewing and managing handover documentation
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Ability to interpret technical information and maintain accurate project records
• Confident communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams
• Understanding of relevant construction, health and safety and quality standards
