THE ROLE OF A HEAD OF PR & CONTENT MANAGER
Identify PR opportunities and employ creative approaches to develop and execute captivating strategies that garner media attention, elevate client visibility, and expand audience reach.
Serve as a representative for our company, attending client meetings, presentations, networking events, and other gatherings as necessary.
Lead and oversee a team of content and PR professionals, ensuring effective management and coordination of tasks.
Utilise data, analytics, and ongoing PR assessments to refine tactics and adapt strategies as needed, ensuring alignment with set objectives.
Collaborate closely with the content team, providing support and fostering skill development in press release writing and related areas.
Take charge of managing all news releases, from drafting and editing to distribution, encompassing press releases, articles, thought leadership pieces, opinion editorials, and media pitches.
Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution for clients.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging practices in public relations to inform strategy and approach.
Possess a working knowledge of SEO principles and their integration with content and PR efforts.
THE REQUIREMENTS OF A PR & CONTENT MANAGER
Degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a similar field.
4+ years of experience within a similar role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in managing a team and supporting them with training.
Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Experience with local, regional, and national media.
