Our client, a well-established and respected automotive service provider, is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled automotive professionals to work in a well-equipped Workshop, with the chance to develop their technical abilities and enjoy a supportive working environment.

• Competitive basic salary up to £40,000, depending on experience and skills
• Overtime paid at time and a half, with flexible hours
• Monday to Friday working pattern
• 1-in-2 Saturday mornings, 8:00am to 1:00pm, with time off during the week

Duties:

• Conduct routine servicing and repairs across various makes and models
• Diagnose electronic and electrical systems to accurately identify faults
• Troubleshoot complex vehicle issues using technical knowledge and diagnostic tools
• Repair and replace electronic components as necessary
• Maintain accurate repair reports and communicate effectively with team members
• Keep the workshop clean, safe, and well-organised
• Adhere to health and safety policies and industry standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a busy automotive environment
• Strong diagnostic skills, particularly with electronic systems
• Ability to work independently and efficiently as a Vehicle Technician
• Full UK driving license
• Relevant industry qualifications or certificates (e.g., IMI, NVQ)
• Experience working on a variety of vehicles, with a good mechanical foundation
• Knowledge of German vehicles is an advantage but not essential
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including Saturdays on a rota basis
