Job Description

Our client, a leading franchise-approved car dealership in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, is seeking a skilled and committed Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop team.

  • Mentoring and providing technical assistance to other technicians within the workshop
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely, and in compliance with health and safety regulations, immediately addressing any issues with customers regarding ongoing or complex vehicle repairs
  • Maintaining detailed records of repairs, services, and diagnostics performed as a Vehicle Technician
  • Supporting workshop efficiency by authoring accurate repair estimates and parts requisitions
  • Contributing to a high standard of customer service by providing technical advice and updates as needed
  • Continuously developing technical skills through training and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a franchise dealership environment or similar setting
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, electronics, and system troubleshooting
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Adaptability to a busy workshop environment, with the capacity to meet targets and deadlines
  • Motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service
